The UROSS is a web-based resource that connects you to research opportunities with world-renowned professors at UHM's College of Social Sciences. You do the research. You gain valuable insights into the theories, tools, procedures, and ethics of social and behavioral science research. You develop the skills to think critically about the research that permeates your classes, the media, and public policy decisions.

To join a research project, simply do the following:
- Browse the database of Research Opportunities
- Look for projects that match your interests, timeframe, and qualifications
- Once you find a project(s) that interest you, email or call the professor listed
- When the professor receives your indication of interest, they'll be in touch
